Old Holley Pottery
Sweet Home potter, Rich Little, is a fifth generation Oregonian. He spent his boyhood in the Cascade Mountain foothills of the Willamette Valley between the Calapooia and Santiam Rivers near Sweet Home, Oregon in Linn County.
After many memorable and rewarding years of teaching in different
cultures and environments around the world, he has returned home.
His studio is located on his family’s original homestead in Holley, Oregon.
Rich's work with stoneware and earthenware clays involve an iron oxide
process on the outside, with dark rich glazes on the inside of his pieces.
Old Holley Pottery is functional, non-toxic, and lead free.
It's also dishwasher and microwave safe.
His work has an earthy rustic flavor and is appealing to the touch.
Evolving continuously, he is inspired by the beauty and strength
in the natural world of which he blends with his cultural
heritage and personal experiences.
His work reflects a sense of balance and harmony, and fosters a sense of belonging.
